I'M STEPHAN LAIRD
I'm a videographer and filmmaker originally from Montana, but now I work out Utah and Idaho.

I'm married to my lovely wife Kayla, and now a new father to my son Aiden.
​
I love telling stories, and for me, the combination of sights and sounds, colors, music and movement in video is unmatched in its ability to share messages. It's more than just looking good, it's also about getting the feel right.
I fell in love with storytelling while listening to my father and grandfather tell hunting stories. I couldn't wait to tell stories of my own as I had my own big hunts growing up that would really wow my own children.
I continued to love hearing and reading stories while growing up, but in my teens I fell in love with a new way of telling stories. I started making short video's in high school, mostly for the school news. But I felt more and more of a drive to capture the stories in a more creative way.

While attending BYU-Idaho I received a Bachelors degree in communication, and while there I specialized in video production.I pushed my storytelling abilities by creating short films, documentaries, and other narrative projects that allowed me do develop a more visual and emotional means of telling stories.
​
Professionally I've pushed that storytelling passion as I began telling company messages through commercial video production. Working with clients such as Count Madison, FyberCom, City of Ammon, Beehive Credit Union, TedX Idaho Falls, and many more.
​
My post education experience has been just as invigorating as I've helped build brand culture and content with Caliber Smart and most recently Signal Relief and Jovi as their Video Producer.
I love sharing messages through beautiful video production, and I'm excited to see how I can tell your stories.
